Troll briquettes are brown coal briquettes from the Niederlausitz region. During the Second World War, prisoners of war were sent to toil in the mining industry. Work crews of prisoners from Zeithain had to provide forced labour in the mining areas in the Lausitz region and south of Leipzig.
